General Description | An attractive variegated form that is not as aggressive as other cultivars. It may revert on the odd branch, producing leaves with no variegation, where this occurs they should be promptly removed. |
ID Characteristic | Variegated green and white/cream typical maple shaped leaves. The petiole when snapped exudes a white latex sap, one of the few maple species to do this. |

Pests | Maple tar spot which is temporarily disfiguring to the leaves but has little effect on plant vigour. Verticillium wilt, although often not fatal unless a tree is in poor vigour may also affect this tree. Of note here however is the ability of the tree to revert. |
