Description and Growing Information

General DescriptionA small tree or shrub with dark green, fleshy leaves, unisex flowers, and a small, yellow-orange to red fruit.
ShapeSpreading habit.
LandscapeOrnamental specimen plant.
PropagationPropagate from ripe-wood cuttings in autumn. Plants will hybridize freely.
CultivationGrow in full sun in a moist but well-drained soil. In order for berries to appear, male and female plants must be grown in close proximity.
