Description and Growing Information

General DescriptionA critically endangered herb which grows alongside Golden Oak (Quercus alnifolia) and Calabrian Pine (Pinus brutia). Straight stems with a purple hue surrounded by a rosette of basal leaves with tiny white flowers in loose clusters.
HabitatShaded rocky slopes of mountains, approximately 900 - 1,350 m above sea level.
Leaf DescriptionLower leaves clustered in a rosette are approximately 6 cm in length and 2 cm in width. Upper leaves are smaller and grip the stem.
Flower DescriptionSmall unobtrusive 4 petaled white flowers.
