Description and Growing Information

HabitatGrassland and woodland hills at an altitude of 1,800-2,100 m.
Leaf DescriptionConical leaves, 1.5 mm in length. Spines are brown in colour, 5-7 per areole, straight and roughly 2-2.5 cm long.
Flower Description2-3 cm in diameter with flowers a greenish hue with red and greenish yellow sepaloids, 6-9 mm long.
Fruit DescriptionYellow spineless, fleshy fruit, obovoid and 2-3 cm in length.
