General DescriptionA larger tree with drooping terminal joins, dark green in colour with yellowish-green flowers tinged with red or lavender.

HabitatDesert washes and canyon sides at an altitude of 330-600 m.
Leaf DescriptionLight yellow pines, 9-12 per areole, straight and spread in all directions, 1.2-2 cm in length.
Flower DescriptionYellowish-green flowers with a hue of red or lavender, 4-5 cm in diameter.
Fruit DescriptionYellow or green, fleshy, tuberculate and spineless, 2x1.5 cm.
