Bark/Stem DescriptionSmooth, dark brown in colour with yellow-brown branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionElliptic and alternate with 12-14 lateral veins on either side and a rounded base.
Flower DescriptionPendulous, narrow and cylindric female inflorescence, 3-9 cm x 6-10 mm.
Fruit DescriptionObovate and slightly pubescent 2mm nutlet with wings 1/2 its width, produced June through August.
Texture DescriptionHard and finely textured.
