Bark/Stem DescriptionThick and corky bark, 1 to 6 m tall, 25 - 45 cm in diameter. 
Leaf DescriptionPinnate, deep green, semi-glossy, 100 - 200 cm long, 20 - 40 cm wide. Leaf blade oblong, strongly "V"-shaped in cross section.
Fruit DescriptionOrange-red, sub ellipsoid, often with hairs.
Colour DescriptionLeaves are bright green and the bark is brown.
