General DescriptionAlstroemeria is a herbaceous bulbous perennial with attractive veined foliage and umbels of bright orange-yellow lily-like flowers.

Flower Description3 outer tepals (segments of the outer whorl with no differentiation between petal and sepal) are bright orange-yellow with a green tip, broadly ovate, 3 inner tepals are much narrower: 2 upper are spotted with red. Flowers are arranged in clusters called umbels, in which stalks of similar length grow from a common centre.
