Garden BioDokmai Garden is privately owned and only open to visitors with reservations by prior request. Dokmai Garden is host to the world's first Orchid Ark, founded on April 3, 2011, with intent to set precedent for more orchid conservation areas by other gardens and organizations due to the threat of endangerment to many orchid species. Over 1000 species of plants, as well as many insect and bird species can be viewed at Dokmai Garden.
