| Garden Bio | Home to over 1000 taxa of trees and shrubs, many of which are rare or exotic in nature, Winkworth began in 1938 from the vision and passion of one man, Wilfred Fox. For the last 60 years, The National Trust has taken over care of the grounds which are interspersed with varieties of azaleas, rhododendrons and holly. The ornamental lakes are a definite tourist attraction as well. |
