General Description | Often flowering a little later than other spring-flowering Magnolias and thus are a little less prone to frost damage. |
Propagation | Softwood cuttings may be taken in early summer and rooted under mist and bottom heat. Layering of low branches in early spring. |
Cultivation | Plant in fertile soil in full sun to partial shade. Formative pruning when young on plants in late summer. |
