Warm Wishes®, also known as ‘Sunset Celebration’, is a Hybrid Tea Rose that was created in 1994 by Gareth Fryer; parentage: ‘Pot o’ Gold’ seedling x Cheshire Life. This rose is known for its hardiness, it can be grown in most soil types, and is very pest and disease tolerant. Warm Wishes® blooms repeatedly from late spring into late autumn. When in bloom, it is especially nice because it does not show any signs of rain damage. Warm Wishes is a rose that belongs in everyone's garden. Warm Wishes has won over 15 Awards including; Royal Horticulture Society Award of Golden Merit (2001), Belfast Gold Medal (1996), Golden Rose of the Hague (1997), and All-American Rose Selection (1998).

General DescriptionBeautiful, medium height rose shrub with outstanding colour and very good hardiness.
ID CharacteristicEasily identified amongst roses by its dark green foliage, brilliant peachy-coral petals and large flowers.
ShapeCompact, multiple stems, round form.
LandscapeInformal gardens or hedges, it can be used as a single specimen but looks better in groups; also, can be used as a cut flower for indoor decoration.
PropagationIn the spring, seedling rootstock (Rosa multiflora, most commonly used in Canada) are used for T-budding. In the winter, rootstock hardwood cuttings of 15 - 20 cm in length are stored in damp media at 4°C, and planted in the spring for T-budding the following season.
CultivationWell-drained to moist soil. Does well in acid, neutral, or alkaline soils; can grow in clay, loam, or sandy soils. Overall, a very easy rose to grow.
PestsVery pest and disease tolerant. Can be affected by diseases such as black spot, rose rust, or powdery mildew, but highly unlikely and if so late in the season.
