One of the earliest poeticus with a wonderful scent. White spreading petals with a shallow corona that is yellowish-green at the base progressing to saffron yellow with a scarlet rim. The plant is classified as D9 W-YYR (Poeticus).

Landscape | Naturalization and mass planting. |
Propagation | About every five years or as the number of blooms decrease lift clumps with a fork after the foliage has withered. Pull the bulbs apart and detach any offsets, replant bulbs three times their own depth and depending on plant size 3 - 10 cm apart. |
Cultivation | Plant in any sunlight or shade in any moist but well-draining soils. |

Flower Description | The white petals are broadly oval and spreading. The trumpet is quite shallow, yellow, greenish yellow at the base with a small band or orange coloured crinkles around the rim. The plant blooms mid to late season, with flowers being up to 87 mm across. |
