General DescriptionCreeping Jenny is a vigorous, spreading groundcover plant that can be very useful in moist, shady situations.
ShapeMat-forming.
LandscapeExcellent in pots and tubs, or cascading over walls. Too vigorous for the rock garden. Best as a lawn substitute, otherwise this can escape into lawns or borders and can become a pest.
PropagationPropagate by division, or by removing layered stems.
HabitatNative to Europe, but has been introduced to North America, where it is considered an invasive species in some areas.
