General DescriptionLobelia cardinalis 'Queen Victoria' is a clumping, herbaceous perennial with tall erect stalks bearing terminal clusters of vivid red flowers.
LandscapeUse in a perennial border or bed to add height and late summer colour. Also good for woodland and wild gardens and in wet areas such as near ponds and streams.
CultivationGrow in part shade, in medium to wet, rich, humusy soil. Requires consistently wet soil. Tolerates full sun in cool, northern climates. If needed, clumps can be divided in spring.
