Description and Growing Information
Landscape | Plant as a pollinator. At my 'Alma Mater' the University of Sussex, O. vulgare came first in a trial of 32 ornamental plants in the Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects, attracting more solitary bees than any other plant tested. |
Habitat | Dry grasslands and open scrub usually in limestone or chalky soils. |
