Description and Growing Information

PropagationPropagate by fresh seed in late summer or early spring. The seedlings resemble the seedlings of carrot (Daucus).
CultivationGrow in perfectly drained, gritty soil in full sun, providing a deep collar of stone chippings to prevent rotting.
Bark/Stem DescriptionRosettes to 1 m diameter, with stems to 80 cm.
Leaf DescriptionLeaves grow up to 70 cm, 1-2 pinnate with thick sheaths. Leaflets are in pairs of 2-4, up to 30 x 9 mm and strongly pungent.
