Description and Growing Information

General DescriptionA very large tree with bright yellow weeping branches producing a soft citrus aroma. The bark is rough and fibrous.
ShapeTall upright weeping, distinctly drooping branches.
LandscapeExcellent for public parks and suburban gardens with its ornamental appearance. A great accent plant, windbreak or shelter tree.
PropagationGrafting or cuttings.
CultivationWell-drained, rich soil in full sun to partial shade. Very drought tolerant.
PestsIn hot summers it is very susceptible to Cypress canker.
