General Description | Typically grown for Christmas trees but a favoured tree for its foliage and needles that aren't sharp and don't drop off when dry. |
Shape | Grows in a dense, pyramid shape. |
Landscape | Grown for Christmas trees but works well as an ornamental landscape tree. |

Cultivation | Best grown in moist, acidic soils and part to full shade. Trees are native to colder climates and do not do well in warm, humid climates. |
