General DescriptionMiscanthus sinensis var. condensatus 'Cosmopolitan' is a tall deciduous ornamental grass with long, arching, variegated leaves and copper-red flower tufts rising above.
LandscapeUse to add architectural height to a border or bed. Ornamental grasses in general lend themselves to less formal, low-maintenance plantings such as urban and naturalized areas or cottage and courtyard gardens.
CultivationGrow in full sun, in moist, well-drained soil. Protect from excess moisture in winter. Remove dead leaves and stems in spring to encourage new growth.
