General Description | Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' is a small, bushy deciduous shrub with broadly oval, serrated leaves and large spherical clusters of white sterile flowers. |
Cultivation | Grow in full sun to part shade, in moderately moist, well-drained soil. Prune close to the ground in late winter to encourage new growth and flowering the following season. Flowers emerge on new wood. |
Pests | No serious pests or diseases of note. This particular cultivar has shown resistance to mildew, bacterial wilt, leaf spot and bud blight. |
