Flower DescriptionThe flowers are produced in small catkin-like inflorescences. Male flowers are simple spikes that are 0.7 - 4 cm long while the female flowers are short peduncles.
Fruit DescriptionOval woody structure, 10 - 24 mm long and 9 - 13 mm wide and superficially resembling a conifer cone. Contains a single seed with a small wing that is 6 - 8 mm long.
