General DescriptionEvergreen perennial, with upright tree-like stems that grow from horizontal stems.
ShapeUpright branches branched again in tree-like fashion.
CultivationPrefers humus-rich, sandy, moist but not completely saturated soils.
HabitatDry to moist forests, bog edges, rocky or sandy places in the lowland to montane zones.

Leaf DescriptionNeedle-like, 1-4mm long and spreading. Leaves on lateral branches are evenly shaped and distributed.
