General DescriptionTall and wide with grey to dark grey coloured bark.
ID CharacteristicA 5 needled pine that is grey in colour and grows to be about 15 m in height and bears brown-red cones.
ShapeTall and wide.
PropagationScion grafting.
CultivationGrows in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Can tolerate many types of soil such as sandy and poor soils.
PestsNo serious pest or disease problems however I have noticed that groundhogs in Ontario tend to chew on the bark.
