Leaf Description | Opposite, obovate (having a narrower base), apex acuminate, green with a reddish-purple central vein and margins. |
Flower Description | Creamy white petals are bilabiate (with 2 lips–both are curling, the top lip has 4 lobes), tubes are deep pink in colour, quite long and narrow and covered in short hairs, pistil and stamens greatly exceed tube length with pistil extending the farthest. Blooms are arranged in whorled terminal spikes and are sweetly fragrant. |
