| Habitat | Grow under larger rhododendrons in partial shade. Damp meadows and woodlands at an altitude of 3,600-4,000 m. |
| Leaf Description | Spear shaped leaves are coated in a thick farina, form a rosette. Leaves are narrow and oblong-lancolate. |
| Flower Description | Large, bell shaped flowers, 3.5 cm in diameter. A rose purple in colour with a ring of farina in their centres, appearing in 2-3 whorls. |
