General DescriptionWith only 21 mature individuals known, this species has been listed as critically endangered and put on the IUCN Red List.
HabitatThe forests of Tiantai Mountain in the North West Province of Zhejiang.
Bark/Stem DescriptionSmooth, grey in colour.
Leaf DescriptionOvate or elliptic, 5-10 x 3-5.5 cm, with 12-15 lateral veins per side.
Fruit DescriptionProduced July through August.
