Bark/Stem DescriptionSmooth, grey or brownish grey in colour. Dark greyish-brown, glabrous branches and branchlets.
Flower/Leaf Bud Description2 glabrous, ribbed scales.
Leaf DescriptionObovate-oblong, oblanceolate-oblong or oblong, 6-13 lateral veins on each side, 6-16 x 2.5-7 cm.
Flower DescriptionFemale inflorescences grouped 2-4 in a raceme, oblong and penduncle.
Fruit DescriptionBroadly ovate nutlet with delicate wings, 1/4 the width of the nutlet, produced July through August.
