General DescriptionThis large, irregular tree has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
ShapeNarrow crown.
HabitatMoist, rocky slopes and open forests at an altitude of 800-2,000 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionMature bark is white to reddish-tan and peels off in thin layers, its younger bark is a shinny reddish-brown colour.
Leaf DescriptionLeaves are ovate and alternate with 9-12 lateral veins on either side, 6-12 cm in length.
