General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatTemperate forestes at an altitude of 1,200-1,600 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionFlaking greyish-white with greyish-brown branches.
Leaf DescriptionRhombic or rhombic-obovate, slightly pubescent, with 4-6 lateral veins on either side, 1.5-5x1-3.5 cm.
Flower DescriptionOblong-cylindric female inflorescence, 1-2.5 cm x 7-8 mm.
Fruit DescriptionOvate, pubescent nutlet with wings 1/2 its width, produced July through August.
