General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatSunny areas of subtropical forests at an altitude of 500-2,000 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionDark grey with glabrous, brown branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionOvate-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, with a surrounded base and 10-15 lateral veins on either side, 4-5x1.8-2.5 cm.
Flower DescriptionPubescent female inflorescence, 4-6x2-2.5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionBroad, ovoid nutlet, 3mm, produced July through August.
