General DescriptionThis species has been paced on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatSubtropical forests on mountain slopes at an altitude of 1,700*2,800 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionGrey with dark greyish-brown branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionOblong-lanceolate, ovate-lanceolate or elliptic-lanceolate, with a rounded, subcordate or rounded cuneate base and 14-18 lateral veins on either side, 5-10x2.5-4 cm.
Flower DescriptionFemale inflorescence, 5-8x2-2.5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionOvoid, broad and slightly pubescent nutlet, 3-4 mm, produced July through August.
