General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatMixed forests at an altitude of 1,000-2,000 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionDark grey with glabrous brown branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionOblong, ovate-oblong or elliptic, with a cordite base and 20-25 lateral veins on either side, 8-10x3-4 cm.
Flower DescriptionFemale inflorescence, 10-12 cm.
Fruit DescriptionOblong or ovoid nutlet, with faint ribbing, 3.5 mm, produced July through August.
