Description and Growing Information
| General Description | This subspecies has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern. |
| Propagation | Propagate by seed: sow in autumn in a cold frame, it will germinate in late winter or spring. Seeds should be pre-soaked in warm water, then 2 weeks warm proceeded by 3-4 months cold stratification. Germination takes place 1-6 months at 20°C. Once large enough, prick and place into individual points on a cold frame. Plant into permanent positions late spring or early summer. Division by suckers should be done early spring and placed directly into permanent positions. |
