Description and Growing Information

General DescriptionThis species occupies a total area of 8 km and has been placed on the IUCN Red List as globally threatened.
HabitatBroad leaved forests at an altitude of 700-1,100 m in south-east Yunnan.
Bark/Stem DescriptionRough brown bark with glabrous branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionOblong or ovate leaves, a rounded base and lateral veins from the base to the centre of the leaf and 2 obtuse lobes, 4-6 x 1.6-2.8 cm.
Flower DescriptionGreen flowers with 5 green sepals and 8 stamens.
Fruit DescriptionSamara 2-2.2 cm and convex winged nutlest, produced in August.
