General DescriptionKnown in one location and threatened by habitat loss, this species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as endangered.
HabitatMontane forests at an altitude of 1,300-1,400 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionBlackish-brown to greyish-brown twigs.
Flower/Leaf Bud DescriptionCylindric and glabrous 1.5 cm.
Leaf DescriptionElliptic to obovate-elliptic, glabrous with 11-12 secondary veins on either side of the mid vein and a cuneate to obtuse base, 15-17 x 6-7 cm.
Flower DescriptionFragrant with 6 tepals, yellow in colour.
Fruit DescriptionPendulous, 21 cm, produced September through October.
