HabitatEvergreen forests in mountainous areas at an altitude of 800-1,500 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionGlabrous, brown branchlets.
Leaf DescriptionOblong-elliptic to ovate-lanceolate, a cuneate base with 10-12 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-14 x 3.5-4.5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionOvoid acorn, 2-2.2 cm.
