HabitatFound at altitudes of 1,800-2,420 m.

Flower/Leaf Bud DescriptionSmall and rounded with ciliate scales.
Leaf DescriptionElliptical or lanceolate, glabrous with a pale underside, 10-25 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a rounded or cuneate base, 3-10 x 1-2 cm.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, ovoid and light brown, 1.5 cm in length.
