HabitatSubmontane, forests at an altitude of 800-1,800 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionGlabrous, greyish twigs.
Flower/Leaf Bud DescriptionHairy, 3 mm in length.
Leaf DescriptionOblong, oboval or oblanceolate, slightly toothed, green and glabrous with a blueish-green underside and a rounded base, 9-13 x 3-5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, subglobose, 2-4 x 2 cm.
