Leaf DescriptionOboval to elliptic, 6-12 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a cordate base, 2.8-12 x 1.6-7 cm.
Flower DescriptionMale catkins, 2-8 mm in length and female flowers grouped 1-3.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, 0.7-1.9 x 0.4-1.3 cm, produced August through September.
