HabitatEvergreen forests at an altitude of 200-2,000 m.
Leaf DescriptionOblong-elliptic a cuneate base and 10-14 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 12-18 x 3-6 cm.
Flower DescriptionInflorescences 1.5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionOvoid to cylindrical acorn, 3-4.5 x 2.5 cm, produced October through December.
