General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as globally threatened.
HabitatFound at altitudes of 1,900-2,700 m.
Flower/Leaf Bud DescriptionBrown, 2-3 mm in length.
Leaf DescriptionElliptical to oblong-lanceolate, thin, glossy dark green and glabrous with a paler underside, a rounded or heart-shaped base and 6-12 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 2-8 x 1-2.5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionOblong, singular or paired, 0.5-1.5 in length.
