Habitat | Steep limestone slopes and ridges at an altitude of 400-1,300 m. |
Bark/Stem Description | Reddish-grey or brown bark with thin pubescent greyish-brown twigs. |
Leaf Description | Narrow and oval, a pointed apex with a subcordate base, toothed and 5-10 veins on either side of the midvein, 2-4 x 1.5-2.8 cm. |
Fruit Description | Acorn, 1.4-1.8 cm in length, produced November through December. |
