HabitatDry tropical forests at an altitude of 980-1,400 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionRough, blackish in colour.
Leaf DescriptionElliptical lanceolate with a rounded or cordate base and 7-15 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 6-14 x 2-5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, 1-1.5 cm in length.
