General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatFound in mountainous areas at an altitude of approximately 2,700 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionSmooth light grey bark with glabrous twigs.
Leaf DescriptionElliptical, glabrous and bright green with a dull underside and 10-17 strongly raised secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-20 x 3-5 cm.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, ovoid, 2-3 x 1..5-2 cm.
