General DescriptionThis species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
HabitatFound at altitudes of 1,200-2,700 m.
Bark/Stem DescriptionDark grey bark with orangish-brown glabrous twigs.
Leaf DescriptionOval-lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, glossy and glabrous, a raised midvein with a cuneate and oblique base and 10-15 secondary veins on either side of the midvein.
Flower DescriptionInflorescences, 3-4 cm in length.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, oblong-ovoid, glabrous, 1-1.7 x 0.8-1.2 cm.
