HabitatMountain valleys and slopes at an altitude of 1,700-2,800 m.
Leaf DescriptionElliptic to oblong-lanceolate with a pointed apex and rounded or cuneate base, glabrous and green with a whitish underside, 16-24 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-20 x 3-8 cm.
Flower DescriptionInflorescences 2-5 cm in length.
Fruit DescriptionAcorn, ovoid to subglobose, brown and glabrous, 1.6-2 x 1.3-1.7 cm.
