General DescriptionA short lived plant with one to many ascending stems and linear leaves.

HabitatGrows in sand or loam and can be found in floodplains and on stony plains.
Leaf DescriptionLeaves are linear to oblong, succulent to fleshy and 4 cm long.
Flower DescriptionPink or red flowers found in racemes with each floret 15 -20 mm in size opening for only one day.
