Bark/Stem DescriptionSingle vertical branch or few branches that can reach 2.5 m in height. The branches are covered in hairs.
Leaf DescriptionCrowded and overlapping, arranged spirally. 13 - 24 mm long and 5 - 12 mm wide and elliptic to egg-shaped with small, fine teeth along the edges.
Flower DescriptionBorne singly in leaf axils on a stalk thats 2 - 3 mm long. 5 triangular sepals that are 2 - 4 mm long. The petals are 20 - 25 mm long and joined at the lower end to form a tube. Petal lobes are pointed and the lowest lobe is curved backwards.
Fruit DescriptionDry, oval-shaped fruit that is 6 - 7 mm long.
Colour DescriptionThe foliage is greyish-green. The branches have white hairs. The sepals are greens. The flower bus are orange but when open become a bright pink to reddish-purple.
