Description and Growing Information

General DescriptionA mat-forming plant with a creeping habit.
PropagationEasily planted. For shorter plants, laying the plant on the ground where you want it to grow is normally enough to get it to begin to grow. It will send out roots from wherever the stem is touching the ground. A very thin covering of soil over the plant can be added to further insure propagation. For taller plants, break off one of the stems and push it into the ground where it will grow. The new plant will be established in a season or two.
CultivationNeeds very little attention or care. Does best in lots of sun and little water. Will thrive in conditions that many other plants thrive in, but will do just as well in less hospitable areas. Can be susceptible to root rot.
